There is a wonderful article in USA Today on-line about pioneers of African-American romance. Many great authors are mentioned but I want to send a special shout out to Beverly Jenkins, who has been a great friend to me over the years, and to Angela Benson, who twenty years ago gave me an on-line introduction to the woman who became my first book editor.
