Introducing “Raynetta Raps”

Now that I have a few years under my belt, I guess I am officially the “older generation.”  Well, okay.  Being a “senior” sure beats the only other alternative (i.e. being six feet under).  And I love those senior discounts!

So do I now have “the wisdom of age?”   I don’t know.  Sometimes I feel the older I get the less I know.  But maybe that’s because I now question viewpoints that I used to take as a given–and maybe that’s a good thing.

When this website was launched it was my intention that it be a blog.  From time to time I will comment on my books, my writing, and my appearances, but that will not be the sole purpose of this website.

Since I’ve now been around the block a couple of times, on occasion I’d like to share with you my observations  and perspectives on life, living, and loving.    I’m calling this series “Raynetta Raps.”

Raps?”  No, I haven’t lost my mind—at least not yet.  The word “rap” these days most commonly refers to rap music, but when it first started being tossed around as slang by my generation it meant to talk or discuss; especially freely, openly. That’s what I’d like to do.  Hopefully these commentaries will give you food for thought.

As always, I welcome your responses or replies.

Warm Regards,

Raynetta
