Sculpture Honoring Victims of the Slave Trade

This Jason deCaires Taylor underwater sculpture was made in honor of African
ancestors who were thrown overboard, off the slave ship Zong off the coast of
Grenada.

Jason deCaires Taylor (born 12 August 1974) is a British sculptor and creator of the world’s first underwater sculpture park – the Molinere Underwater Sculpture Park [1] – and underwater museum.
