I’m thrilled to announce that my book FOLLOW YOUR HEART is now available and for sale as an eBook on Amazon.com (Kindle) and Barnes and Noble.com (Nook)!

As a print book  Follow Your Heart won the prestigious “Award of Excellence” from the Romance In Color website (www.Romanceincolor.com).

Follow Your Heart was also rated a 4 1/2 star Gold Medal Top Pick by Romantic Times Magazine, which said, “Follow Your Heart is a flawless literary diamond that will continue to sparkle long after the first blush of love has faded away.”

Follow Your Heart  was rated “Five Hearts,” its highest rating, by the Romance Reader, which said: “Manees has…captured the flavor of the Black church right down to cardboard funeral home fans and the beauty shop scene is a classic…I couldn’t put it down… Follow Your Heart is a wonderful story with realistic characters who testify to the power of love and faith.”

I chose Follow Your Heart as the first of my books to go digital for many reasons, but at the top of the list was because it is dedicated to my Mom, Lebertis Knight Manees Wright, who passed away in September, 2011.  My mother was the greatest role model for a Christian woman that I have ever known, and since this is a Christian romance this had to be her book.

I wrote Follow Your Heart in response to a challenge.  When I told a colleague I was thinking about writing  it she told me to “forget about it,” because I could never write a “good” romance with a minister as the hero.  My reply was “Oh, no?  Just watch me!”  I couldn’t be happier that the book has been so well received.

All six of my past books will be up and for sale as eBooks within the next couple of months.  I’m also working on my seventh print novel, which I hope will be released in 2013.
