My book FOLLOW YOUR HEART will soon be released as an e-Book for Kindle and Nook.  In the book my heroine, Tameka, who is a Grammy winner and a deacon’s daughter, sings this song, “Peace! Be Still!”  I put the song in the book because it has been a favorite of mine since I used to sing it in the Junior Choir of theTwelfth Street Missionary Baptist Church.  Sister Vanessa Bell Armstrong (who is from Detroit–my home town) does such a wonderful interpretation of the song in this version.  I’m listening to it as I write.
